Windows User Permissions
Start-Q recognizes and respects the stricter windows user permissions in Windows NT based operating systems. In this environment users who don't have administrative privilege can not alter startup items that is set to be applied for all users. Start-Q upholds this rule by:
- Startup items for all users can only be added/removed into/from the Start-Q queue only by users with administrative privilege. Otherwise they would be read-onlys.
- Users without administrative privilege can not skip the launching of all user's startup items. These users can only skips his/her own startup items.
